Explanation
A typical output of an information dot. In this example you can clearly see the wind (apparent and true) and rudder indicators. The colored dots are an indication of STW (Speed Through Water). The specific color of the dot is a speed indication as well. The curtain itself is an indication of SOG (Speed Over Ground).
