Explanation
In example you see the boat on it’s first leg of the voyage. A log file is included with information about the this trip (yellow marker). Additional information like traveled time and average speed can be found at the picture of the boat (left, bottom corner). Each colored dot stores information about SOG, COG, STW, Heading, true/apparent Wind like speed and direction, depth, etc. etc. The color of the dots is a speed indication.
